About

Our Mission

To be the first choice of men of quality, who will contribute to the strength of the organization and enhance its ability to achieve its vision. Freemasonry in Minnesota shall accomplish this by creating a growing, active, relevant organization of great appeal that is well known and respected for making a difference in our local community.

As Masons, we lead by example, give back to our communities, and support numerous Masonic philanthropies. We invest in children, our neighborhoods, and our future.

Our Values

Our Mission is guided by the enduring and relevant tenets of our fraternity–Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth–and our core values, which include:

Ethics
Our lives are based on honor and integrity, and we believe that honesty, compassion, trust, and knowledge are important.

Tolerance
The fraternity values religious, ethnic, cultural, social, and educational differences. We respect the opinions of others and strive to improve and develop as human beings.

Personal Growth
Our continuous pursuit of knowledge, ethics, spirituality, and leadership brings more meaning to our lives.

Philanthropy
We make a difference in our communities through charitable giving, community service, and volunteerism.

Family
We strive to be better spouses, parents, and family members and are committed to protecting the well being of members and their families, especially when they are in need.

Freedom
Masons value the liberties outlined in the U.S. Constitution and continually promote freedom of speech and expression, freedom to worship a Supreme Being in an individual way, and other important liberties. We believe it is our duty to vote in public elections and to exercise all of our liberties within due and proper bounds.

IN THE COMMUNITY

MASONIC CHARITIES

Who We Are

In 2004, the Grand Lodge of Minnesota created Minnesota Masonic Charities, a nonprofit umbrella organization that promotes even greater levels of charity through a united focus. The Minnesota Masons contribute to charitable causes of all types; aiding other Masons, their families and all people within society. Our size, resources and capabilities rank us as one of the largest grant-making organizations in the state.

Minnesota Masonic Charities offers a capable, central foundation for the Minnesota Masons' many charitable endeavors. We are committed to strengthening the communities of Minnesota.

Our Charitable Activities

Minnesota Masonic Charities pledges compassion, commitment and capability as we serve our fraternal members, their families and others.

Minnesota Masonic Charities provides matching grants, principally in support of general public welfare in the widest sense, especially for the elderly and young people. Areas of support are broadly based and include social services, health care, medical research and education.

Getting Involved

Minnesota Masonic Charities encourages Minnesota Masons and friends to continue their contributions to our current activities, as well as seek out philanthropic opportunities we can explore together. If you would like to help by making a contribution of your money, your time or both, or if you have suggestions for other charitable activities that Minnesota Masonic Charities might consider, please let us know.
